WHAT IS THE EXPERIENCE?
Step 1: Inquire a Session
HERE, you have the opportunity to fill out a form. Once you initiate the inquiry, I'll promptly get in touch with you to delve into more details about your senior session. This allows us to tailor the experience to your preferences and ensure that every aspect of your session reflects your unique personality and vision. Looking forward to connecting and creating memorable moments together!
Step 2: Coffee Date
Yes, you read it correctly! I'm treating you to a cup of coffee as a new addition to the senior package. I believe in creating a fun and comfortable experience for my seniors, and this coffee session is a great way for us to get to know each other. Understanding your personality helps me capture this milestone perfectly for you! ( This is depending on where you are located and if we can travel to each other for coffee otherwise we will FaceTime and coffee is till on me :) Parents are always welcomed to join!)
Step 3: Building your vision! (recommended)
Feel free to take this step before or after our coffee date, whichever works best for you. It's completely optional! As a Pinterest enthusiast, I'm always seeking inspiration. While I have a vision for the senior session, I'm eager to discover your unique vision as well. These photos will be the ones you look back on and share with your future husband and kids, so I want them to align perfectly with your vision.
Step 4: What to wear to your session??
This is a topic we'll cover in-depth during our coffee date. In my professional opinion, outfits play a crucial role in the success of photos. I consider two key factors:
1. Comfort: Does the outfit make you feel at ease?
2. Harmony with the location/setting of the photos.
I have confidence that whatever you choose will be fantastic, given your impeccable taste! To assist you further, I've curated an outfit guide that will be shared with you upon booking. This guide covers aspects like color complexion, the overall vibe, and suitability for the photo location. Creating a vision board will also aid in generating outfit ideas. Importantly, there's no need to go on a shopping spree; however, if you decide to, let me know—I excel at online shopping, finding great deals, and would be delighted to help you.
Step 5: Choosing a location
Choosing the ideal location might feel overwhelming, but I aim to simplify the process for you. I offer a location guide centered around the twin cities and other areas. You can either visit the suggested location, or if you prefer a different one, a travel fee will apply based on the distance for me to reach your specified location. Location choices will also depend on the vision you have!
Step 6: Day of Session
AHH the time has finally come and we get to capture this exciting time for you. It's crazy to think I took my senior photos 6 years ago. I still remember getting ready for my photos and wanting them to be "perfect". I also remember the nerves I had about posing and meeting my photographer. Hopefully after the coffee date and multiple text threads the nerves settle, but if not I recommend taking the day to do self care and prepare for the photos by just relaxing (however you like to relax). At the session we meet at one of the 2-3 locations you have decided on. I will help you pose and fix any small details like hair or tags on clothing. If you want to bring fun props like flowers, hats or anything else you like you are more than welcome. Will probably chat about this as well before the date.
Step 7: What happens after the session
Sad...that means the fun is over.. Not exactly. First off I want you to know I am always around if you need anything!! I get it senior year can be tricky, choosing a college, grad planning and party invites. I'm here for it all. I love hearing about where my seniors are headed. I also love helping designing invites so please don't hesitate to ask. Photos will be delivered 2-4 weeks after the session.
